JBER Coffee Joins Kawempe Division’s Security Awareness Walk
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Brewing Community Safety
In December 2024, JBER Coffee proudly teamed up with the Uganda Police Force's Kawempe Division for a transformative Security Awareness Walk, reinforcing our commitment to building a safer and more resilient community. This initiative, part of our broader social responsibility efforts, showcased the power of collaboration in addressing local safety and empowerment needs.
Kawempe residents recently received a significant boost through the Parish Development Model (PDM), injecting UGX 13 billion into their local economy. Recognizing the importance of secure neighborhoods to sustain this progress, JBER Coffee partnered with the police to inspire a culture of vigilance and unity.
The walk brought together residents, local leaders, and security personnel, fostering conversations about crime prevention and community support. For JBER Coffee, this was more than a symbolic gesture—it was a step toward ensuring that the community's growth and opportunities remain safeguarded.
"We believe thriving communities are built on a foundation of safety and trust," said Fred O. Bwire, JBER Coffee’s representative. "As we celebrate the success of programs like PDM, we’re equally committed to making sure this prosperity is protected."
This event highlights JBER Coffee’s dedication to the communities we serve. From supporting livelihoods to promoting local security, we remain steadfast in creating a holistic impact. Together with partners like the Uganda Police Force, we’re brewing a future that’s as secure as it is prosperous.
